Terms of service

1. Scope of Work

All services provided will be outlined in a detailed proposal and/or contract prior to starting. This scope will include deliverables, timelines, and responsibilities. Any work requested outside of the agreed scope may require a new quote and agreement.

2. Payment Terms

  • A deposit (usually 50%) is due to secure your project start date.

  • The remaining balance is due upon completion of the project, before final files are delivered or websites go live.

  • For ongoing monthly services (like social media management or website maintenance), payment is due at the start of each month.

3. Revisions

Each project includes a specified number of revision rounds (outlined in your proposal). Additional revisions outside this will be billed at my current hourly rate. ($32.00/hr)

4. Client Responsibilities

You agree to provide all requested materials (such as text, images, brand guidelines) in a timely manner to avoid delays. Delays in receiving content or feedback may push out your project timeline.

5. Timelines

Project timelines are estimates. While I strive to meet agreed deadlines, timelines may shift if delays occur due to late feedback, additional revisions, or scope changes.

6. Cancellation & Refunds

If you cancel after work has begun, payments made up to that point are non-refundable and cover time spent. If I have to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances on my end, you’ll receive a full refund of any deposits for unstarted work.

7. Ownership & Copyright

  • Upon full payment, final designs, marketing assets, and websites become your property.

  • Working files (like layered PSD or AI files) remain the property of Madelyn Stoklosa Marketing unless otherwise agreed.

  • I reserve the right to display completed work in my portfolio and marketing.

8. Liability

While I take care to provide effective marketing solutions, I cannot guarantee specific results such as increased revenue or website traffic. You acknowledge that marketing results can vary due to factors outside our control.

9. Confidentiality

Any private business information you share will be kept confidential and will not be shared without your permission, except where required by law.

10. Communication

Most communication will take place via email or scheduled calls. This helps ensure all requests and approvals are documented for your records and mine.

11. Agreement

By proceeding with services, you agree to these terms and conditions. A separate contract will outline your individual project details.

This outlines how we’ll work together so everything is clear, fair, and stress-free for both of us. By starting a project, you’re agreeing to these terms.
